Weather and Best Time to Visit

Anguilla enjoys a tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round, averaging between 75°F and 88°F. The dry season from December to April is the most popular time to visit, with cooler temperatures and little rain. The off-season from May to November sees higher humidity and occasional rainfall, but fewer crowds and lower prices. Hurricane season runs from June to November, with the highest risk from August to October.

Getting There

Anguilla has a small international airport, Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA), but most travelers arrive via a connecting flight from St. Maarten (SXM) or Puerto Rico (SJU). Another popular option is to fly into St. Maarten and take a short ferry ride to Anguilla. Ferries operate from the Dutch side (Simpson Bay) and the French side (Marigot) of St. Maarten. Private charters and water taxis are also available for a more exclusive experience.
